Member of CRENOS (Centre for Economic Research for the North & South), CIREM section (Interuniversity Centre for Economic Research and Mobility of the University of Cagliari and the University of Sassari).

Member of the Italian Geographic Society.

 

Qualifications

1994: Degree in Political Sciences from the University of Cagliari, with a thesis in Economic and Political Geography.

In the academic year 1995-1996, she attended a Master in Urban Planning: “Environment and Territory”, within the Department of Land Engineering of the University of Cagliari.

 

Scholarships

Between 13/10/1997 to 22/11/1999 she was awarded a scholarship from the Sardinia Region (ex art. 37 L.R. 2/94) to carry out a study on the “Elaboration and application of models to determine tourism carrying capacity in the coastal areas of Sardinia”. The study was carried out within the previous Department for Economic and Social Research of the University of Cagliari.

Between 28/07/2000 to 31/03/2006 she was the awarded a Research Grant (ex art. 51 L.N. 449/97) to carry out a study on “Eco compatible strategies for the development of tourism in coastal areas: The case of Essaouira, Morocco”. The study was carried out within the previous Department for Economic and Social Research of the University of Cagliari.
