Teaching Methods

Verification of learning

The assessment of learning will take place in two phases:
A) a semi-structured written test of literary history and textual analysis focused on the works studied during the course, arranged after about half of the lessons;

b) an oral exam where will be given the final evaluation, also considering the previous written tests.

In the oral exam we will proceed to further analysis of literary texts, critical essays will be discussed, and - for those students who have not passed the first test - a literary story will be dealt with.
Both the written test and the oral test will be useful in verifying the literal comprehension and literacy skills, expressive mastery and acquired expertise on the topics discussed, judgment autonomy, also in relation to critical bibliography.
In the summary assessment, 30% will be based on the knowledge of literary history, 30% in relation to the ability to produce a punctual text analysis in a written paper, the remaining 40% will be attributed to the knowledge and skills, communicative effectiveness, as demonstrated in the oral interview.
