Objectives

Knowledge of peculiar manifestations of literary heritage and historical-cultural phenomena related to literary texts.
Skills in understanding literary texts.
Adequate knowledge of the main methodological guidelines of literary criticism.
Ability to apply linguistic and methodological knowledge in the field of literary analysis and critical examination abilities of a work in relation to his rhetorical-expressive gender specificities.
Ability to produce spoken and written texts (textual analysis, information, reviews) in Italian and Spanish, related to the literature and cultural and historical processes connected to the Italian tradition and the Spanish language.

Prerequisites

II year:
Knowledge of Spanish.
Adequate knowledge of Italian literature.

III year:
Knowledge of morphological and syntactic structures in relation to prose and poetic text.
Knowledge of peculiar themes, literary genres, and authors who characterize Spanish literature.
Skills in analyzing and interpreting narrative and poetic text and in understanding the various compositional structures.

Teaching Methods

Frontal lessons in Spanish

Verification of learning

The student's assessment involves an oral test in Spanish. The knowledge of the course program is evaluated through an interview where the student has to demonstrate knowledge of the proposed literary works and the related historical and cultural phenomena. The text analysis skills are evaluated during the same interview in which the student has to demonstrate the ability to apply the linguistic and methodological knowledge learned in the field of literary analysis and to have critical knowledge of the literary works proposed by the course.

• expressive mastery, also with reference to metalanguage of a particular subject
• ability to frame the subject in a chronological and geographical sense
• Critical processing capabilities of concepts
• Use appropriate terminology

The course is organized in two modules according to the following scheme:

- Spanish Literature 1 - Languages and Cultures for Language Mediation - Literary Language Curriculum (2nd year, 60 hours - 12 CFUs): Modules A and B.

- Spanish Literature 2 - Languages and Cultures for Language Mediation - Literary Language Curriculum (3rd year, 60 hours - 12 CFUs): Modules A and B.

- Spanish Literature 1 - Languages and Cultures for Language Mediation - Intercultural Linguistic Curriculum (2nd Year, 30 Hours - 6 CFUs): Module A.

- Spanish Literature 1 - Languages and Communication (3rd year, 30 hours - 6 CFUs): Module A.
