Objectives

The course aims to illustrate the basic principles of dynamic psychology in its theoretical and application aspects. The following will be promoted:
1 - knowledge of the theoretical and methodological paradigms of psychodynamics of relationships; knowledge of the main methods of observation and intervention on relationships;
2- competence in the application of the acquired knowledges for the purposes of observation and analysis of the dynamic processes involved in interpersonal, family and educational relationships;
3- autonomy in the critically analysis of the different theoretical paradigms and observation methodologies;
4- ability to communicate clearly, in the context of the didactic confrontation and among colleagues / and in group activities, critical reflections, information, ideas, problems and solutions.
5- ability to learn the main psychodynamic theoretical models. Particular attention will be put to the historical, epistemological and conceptual evolution of these theories and to the contributions that they offered for the understanding of the role exercised by the relationships on the development of the self and on the individual psychic functioning.

Prerequisites

It is important that students demonstrate a capacity for listening, understanding and critical reflection. Prerequisites are not required.

Contents

The following topics will be covered during the course:
1- the main theoretical models that in the field of dynamic psychology have focused on the object and interpersonal relationships.
2- the dynamic processes that characterize psycho-affective development in different phases of the life cycle, with respect to evolutionary tasks and in conjunction with crises and stressful events
3- the centrality of family and educational contexts in promoting psychological well-being.

Teaching Methods

25 hours of lessons
5 hours of exercises (analysis of films, analyzes clinical cases)

Verification of learning

The evaluation of the student will be carried out through an interview in which questions related to the contents addressed during the course will be proposed.
The assignment of the final grade will be based on knowledge of the contents and topics covered during the course, the expressive mastery and the ability to organize an orderly discourse and clear arguments through the use of appropriate terminology, the ability to frame chronologically discussed the content, the ability to critically process the studied concepts and apply them to specific situations and cases.
To pass the exam, to bring back, therefore, a grade not inferior to 18/30, students and students must demonstrate to have acquired knowledge, competencies and basic abilities regarding the topics covered

The presentation of the theoretical topics will be supported by the use of slides that will be made available to students and students at the end of the course. The hours of practice will also be supported by the use of video and other material (questionnaires, researches, clinical cases)
