PhD students at the University of Cagliari
Within the framework of an agreement with the PhD Schools, the University Language Centre has been responsible for several years now for assessing the language skills of PhD students in English and for preparing them for the CEFR B2 level (or higher depending on their PhD programme), as required by the objectives of our University.
Language skills will be assessed by means of a computer-based test followed by an oral test with a language expert, only if the test confirms a good result.
We would like to remind you that anyone who already holds one of the language certifications recognised by the Centre is exempted from the computer-based test or from attending courses. Please, send an email to Professor Fodde (email@example.com)and (firstname.lastname@example.org; email@example.com) in CC, for an assessment of the certificate.
The results of the tests and the validity of the certificates will be communicated to the PhD School Coordinators and will either confirm your exemption or allow you to access the scheduled courses.
