Objectives

Introduce to the literary history of spanish XVII century. Familiarize students with the tools of theory and criticism related to the literary text.

Prerequisites

Good knowledge of spoken and written Spanish to read poetry and its critical bibliography.

Contents

Poetry and theater of the seventeenth century in Sardinia.

Teaching Methods

The course consists of lectures (30 hours) and active workshops (30 hours); during the workshop the students will analyze texts through the multiple exegetical possibilities.

Verification of learning

Oral exam consisting of an interview aimed at ascertaining the skills acquired relating to the course content or final written exam.

The student will have to prepare an elaborate (extension about 20,000 characters, spaces and notes included) which will submit to verification a hermeneutic thesis related to the course content or topics related to them.
