Objectives

This introductory course of Psychology is aimed at providing a theoretical and methodological framework on the processes studied in General Psychology. The first part of the course will focus on the historical evolution of Psychology, with specific attention to the theoretical models that characterized the history of the discipline. Moreover, methodological issues associated to the research and study of Psychology will be examined. The second part of the course, will focus on methodological and theoretical aspects associated to cognitive, emotional, and motivational processes.

Verification of learning

written examination in presence: test duration 2 hours , number and type of questions : 6 open questions , four questions about manuals and 2 questions about the choice of books
Online test: Written test in presence: duration of the test 2 hours, number and type of questions: 6 open questions: 4 questions on the manuals and 2 questions on the books of your choice
Online test in case of medical emergency: A written test will be held on moodle, it is a multiple choice test, where only one answer option is correct.The test will last 40 minutes in all, the compilation is progressive, therefore it does not provide for the possibility to go back to the questions previously presented. Passing this test will allow access to the oral which will take place online according to a schedule prepared by the teacher
